ST1 - 3 Doctors in Training

The training days take place in the following trusts, Exeter, Truro, Plymouth, Torbay and Barnstaple. The training day will be a whole day course which will be programmed to take place twice in each Trust, to ensure as many Doctors in Training as possible can attend.

Doctors in Training are expected to attend one of each of the repeated regional ST1 - 3 training days, for details of upcoming training days please see our events page. If you have any questions regarding training days please contact the School Manager or School Coordinator. 

In addition to attending one of the above regional training days ST3 Doctors in Training are expected to attend the Peninsula based neonatal step up to registrar course.

 

The following BMSC courses are voluntary (this list is not exhaustive)

Key competences aimed at ST1 - ST3 Doctors in Training

Step-up to registrar aimed at ST3 - ST4 Doctors in Training

COPE aimed at ST5 Doctors in Training

Memingococcal day aimed at any grade of Doctor in Training.

 

COFFEE AND TEA WILL BE AVAILABLE ON ARRIVAL AND MID MORNING. LUNCH WILL NOT BE PROVIDED AS THERE ARE CATERING FACILITIES ON SITE OR YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN 

ST4 - 5 Doctors in Training

The regional training days for ST4-5 Peninsula Doctors in Training take place at the Severn Deanery. The information regarding the training days is available on the Severn website.
